Visit of Mr Tomi Reichenstahl to St Mac Daras Community College
Tomi Reichental was born in 1935 in Slovakia. He was sent to Bergen-Belsen
concentration camp in 1944. He lost thirty-five members of his family to such camps.
Tomi has lived in Dublin since 1959 and regularly talks to Irish schools about his wartime experiences.
The History Association was delighted to welcome Mr Reichental to St MacDaras CC on 20 December 2012.
He spoke for over one hour and captivated the fifth and Sixth year students with his incredible story.
